A traditional and powerful singing of American shape-note hymns, fuging tunes, and anthems in unaccompanied four-part harmony from The Sacred Harp. A free event with no membership requirements. All welcome: beginners, experienced singers, and listeners.

New to Sacred Harp singing? Join us for singing school during the first hour of our regular singings to learn the basics.

Elder Gerald Hand Memorial Sing

Together with the Las Cruces Sacred Harp Singers, we co-host an annual convention in honor of Gerald Hand, a dedicated and fondly remembered singer from New Mexico. The Elder Gerald Hand Memorial Sing takes place on the first Sunday in March and the preceding Saturday. On even-numbered years, the sing takes place in Tucson; on odd-numbered years, the sing takes places in Las Cruces.

Registration opens 30 minutes prior to the start time each day. We will have dinner on the grounds at noon both days. All are welcome: beginners, experienced singers, and listeners.
